CITROËN DS5 EARNS FIVE EURONCAP STARS

The CITROËN DS5 has earned a five-star score in the EuroNCAP protocol, with a 97% rating on assistance systems. The third model in the DS line boasts dynamic and reassuring road manners and a reinforced architecture, together with a range of high-performance equipment benefitting from all the brand’s expertise.

Safety comes in the form of tried and tested driving aid technologies such as electronic brakeforce distribution, emergency brake assist, intelligent traction control, a speed limiter/cruise control system and static cornering lighting. The strong EuroNCAP results were obtained through “Créative Technologie” equipment available exclusively on the CITROËN DS5 including: - a new-generation Lane Departure Warning System that “reads” the road using a camera built in to the upper part of the windscreen and alerts drivers when they drift from trajectory.
