THE CITROËN C5 AND C8 GAIN STYLING UPGRADES AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES
CITROËN is upgrading the C5 and C8 with new styling features consistent with the Brand’s current cues and future ambitions. Both models get extra modernity and elegance, strengthening their personalities while maintaining the assets behind their success.
CITROËCITROËN C5: MODERN STYLING AND TECHNOLOGIES
Since launch in early 2008, the saloon and Tourer versions of the CITROËN C5 have together sold in over 400,000 units. CITROËN has given its successful model a style and technology upgrade to lend it even more modernity and personality:
- The CITROËN C5 now features the Brand’s new chevrons, which reinforce the car’s expression with their enhanced curves. The C5 also gets 17-inch “Egée” alloy wheels (standard fit on some versions) and a new body colour, “Guaranja” brown. CITROËN C5 Exclusive trim models are available with a new leather/cloth upholstery and new interior design components.
- To make driving easier, the CITROËN C5 has been fitted with a new MyWay satnav system combined with the Connecting Box, including a jack socket, USB port and a Bluetooth hands-free kit. On the C5 Tourer, the satnav can be hooked up to a reversing camera to make parking manoeuvres easier.
The CITROËN C5 continues to feature modern, and even exclusive, technologies for the wellbeing, comfort and safety of all passengers, such as CITROËN eTouch and Hydractive III+ suspension, a CITROËN world exclusive.
CITROËN C8, AN INVITATION TO TRAVEL
The CITROËN C8 successfully combines elegance, spaciousness, well-being and driving pleasure. CITROËN is building on that success with upgrades that make its largest MPV even more modern and dynamic.
The grille now features the Brand’s new chevrons and a redesigned strip. The new brand identity also features at the back of the vehicle in the chevrons and logos on the tailgate.
The CITROËN C8’s personality is further strengthened by Onyx black touches, available as part of the Black Pack, on the wing mirrors, pillars, side door mouldings and front and rear bumper strips. The headlamps get a new “smoked” look that underscores the MPV’s gaze and revitalises its styling. Lastly, the C8 is now available with a new body colour, “Hickory” brown.
